Pipette Genie is a smart microplate pipetting assistant that aims to improve manual pipetting accuracy and efficiency. It automatically detects, indicates and records manual pipetting activities on microplates, PCR plates, and strip tubes. It is compatible with single-channel and multiple-channel (3, 4, 8 or 12) pipettes.
The Android-based system allows easy (same-well) repeated pipetting, operation undo, plate partition and management, and other smart interactions. The built-in electric motor offers effective mixing of samples and reagents without the need to remove the microplates.
Pipette Genie can be implemented as part of laboratory quality management protocols as each pipetting session is automatically saved as log files with the well number and timestamp of each pipetting action.
